How long will my order take?
If an item is in stock, it should go out within 3-5 working days. All of our products are hand made by myself, my seamstress or my Ouma’s so please allow time for each item to be perfectly crafted with love and care. Should it be out of stock and needs to be made, please allow around 4-6 weeks for delivery. We always try our best to help where we can, so if needed sooner, please get in touch, we might be able to suggest a suitable alternative or might have stock that just hasn’t been loaded online yet.
How to care for my Koosh-uhn items:
Waffle Weave and Muslin Items:
Cold gentle machine wash – too much agitation and heat could cause waffle weave to shrink. Fabric softener and tumble drying not recommended. Reshape while wet. Iron on waffle side for waffle pattern to relax again after washing.
For waffle weave and sherpa blankets, wash as above but on its own in the machine with a drop of Sunlight dishwashing liquid to keep the sherpa in good condition.
Braided Items:
Machine washing not recommended. Wash in lukewarm water in bath with light detergent, lie flat to dry. Fabric softener and tumble drying not recommended.
How will my order be delivered?
All orders are shipped door to door.
You will be updated on the status of your order via email for BobGo (our delivery partner) and will be sent a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us.
Couriers do not deliver over weekends or public holidays. Working days are from Monday – Friday.
Please note that outlying areas may incur additional courier charges. Please contact us should you want a quote.
Can I track my order?
Definitely! You will receive a tracking number via email once your order is shipped out.
How long will my order take to reach me?
We do not have stock on hand and manufacture on order. Once we send you an order confirmation email we will begin making your order and then package and ship it to have it delivered to your door. Standard lead time is 15-30 working days. Working days are Mondays-Fridays, Public Holidays are not working days.
Do you deliver to P.O. Box addresses?
No, your order is delivered to your door. Please make sure to supply us with your complete home/work address where someone will be able to sign for it between 8:00 and 17:00 on weekdays.
Do I need a credit card to make payment?
Nope! Payment works through Payfast or PayJustNow so you can choose between many different options.
Should you want to do a standard EFT, please contact us with what you would like to order so we can send an invoice and banking details.
What size braided bumper will work best for my cot?
There are a few things to consider when choosing your bumper size. For example, would you like the bumper to go all the way around the cot or do you want it to cover half of the cot or maybe only one side of the cot?
We suggest measuring the inside, either all along the edge of the mattress or on the inside edge of the cot itself everywhere you want the bumper to cover.
You can then choose the closest standard size bumper or contact us for a custom size that fits perfectly into the area you want covered.
We can make recommendations for the size but it still remains your responsibility to ensure you measure to make sure you are ordering the correct length.

What if I want a custom design or size?
We can definitely do that! Please contact us at hello@koosh-uhn.co.za with your ideas so we can make them come to life.
What if I’m not happy with my custom order?
When you order a custom design we will make sure you approve of the design and colour before making your order to make sure your are 100% happy with your order.
Conditions of return
It is the buyers responsibility to ensure that the correct colour and size is ordered. Should the buyer want the bumper to match something specific, they must communicate it to the Koosh-uhn team to ensure the closest match is used. If you are unsure of a colour you are welcome to send us a message to confirm. All orders are made to order thus returns will be handled on a case by case basis. If a return is granted, buyer will be responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition and packaging, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Products which are made to order may not be returned unless the product is defective, damaged or if the product you received is not the same as the product you have ordered. Please report damage, defects or incorrect products within 24hours of delivery
Should a refund be approved, refunds will take place within 5-10 working days.
